Yesterday, December 21st 2007, Carl Wilson would have been 61. In order to both honor his memory and offer to his fans a "Christmas present", Brian Wilson decided to record a version of Carl's "Heaven". According to the great mixer/engineer Mark Linett, Brian got in the studio the day before yesterday and, during that single day, he produced the track and sung each and every part that you can hear! And you'll realize how amazing this is when you hear the falsetto harmonies.
Enjoy this beautiful and heartfelt tribute. AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!
"Heaven": 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8
"Heaven", with spoken intro: 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

thanks so much for this. brian always likes to belt out quality stuff at this time of year. As Roy Wood sang, I wish it could be Christmas Every Day.
Nice one Zap.
It sounds better than his previous Christmas gifts, bless him.
Have you heard the CD version of MAD as spoken of by AGD over at the Smiley board? (subject '\')
Brother John
No, but I'd certainly like to hear this version of MAD! Maybe someone I know has it, so I'll try to get it.
