Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 4 - Miscellaneous Trax 1

Here's volume 4 of the SOT series - "Misc Trax 1". It includes sessions for "Pamela Jean" (cut by the "Survivors" another band Brian produced and sang with), "I Do" (a fantastic Spector-ish production - two different sessions are available on this set: one with vocals done by the "Castells" and the other one by the BBs), some Honeys songs, and more. A must-have!

Artwork is included. Enjoy!

Disc 1 + artwork: 1 / 2 / 3

Disc 2: 1 / 2 / 3

I can't get Disc 1 to download. When I click to download file, MediaFire goes to a blank page. Disc 2 downloaded just fine. Can you help & check it?

The solution to most host sites problems is just to wait and try again - one of the servers must have a problem right now and it'll probably be fixed soon!

am I mistaken or did the Honey's eventually put vocals on "Go Away Boy"? If it exists, and you have it, please post it!

They actually did, but not before their '83 LP "Honeys In Ecstacy". I have it... And I'm adding it to my ever-growing list of "things to upload"! ;)

re:I can't get Disc 1 to download. When I click to download file, MediaFire goes to a blank page. Disc 2 downloaded just fine.

I've been having the same problem. I've waited... restarted my computer... rebooted the page... even had my son attempt the download on his computer... all with the same results - it wouldn't download. The message I continue to get is "Problem loading page - connection reset"

None of the other files have been a problem.

What am I doing incorrectly?

Linear Zap said...

What you are doing incorrectly is waiting. :D If it doesn't work, you have to wait longer... Sorry if you were in a hurry, but it's the only solution I can give you!

Strange as it may seem, when you simulteanously upload two files on Mediafire (or any other host site for that matter), the files are uploaded on two different servers (for example: server 184 for the first part, 76 for the second), as a single server couldn't handle the many files that are uploaded. So if one of the servers has a problem, you might not be able to download a file immediately.

By the way, both are working fine right now...!

Thanks for all the great stuff you
have posted so far. Its great.

I am searching for UM Volumes 3, 4, & 8 to complete the series.

Thanks to your blog, and other sites, I have been able to enjoy
a wealth of music, that I could not afford to buy all the volumes.

Hey Linear,
Love the site. I'm trying to obtain the Unsurpassed Masters series and am finding that the link for each is not available. Could you possibly re-up using RapidShare (where it seems you prefer to upload the 2nd link of each album)?

Some links (the "2", for instance) are still working - try again!
