That Lucky Old Sun (September 12th)

I've had a few requests for the Wednesday 12th show, so here it is. Each of the shows has its good and bad sides. Some think that most songs are better sung by Brian on this one, and that the sound is a bit clearer. Yet, there's a guy that whistles now and then troughout the show, and there are some "clicks". But these are details, and both of these shows are really good and enjoyable!

Part 1: 1 / 2 / 3

Part 2 (TLOS + encores): 1 / 2 / 3

Thank you very much for posting this show. I listened to the monday show a couple of times, but i think this show is far better. Very mellow, sunny, sixties-style a la Harper's Bizarre. Brian is in great shape, he has the voice back that he had in the late seventies, full of soul. No annoying rock guitar riff anymore in Going Home.
That Lucky Old Sun now has definitely come to live for me. Hope they record it like they did in the sixties: live in the studio

@ "anonymous": help yourself. On this forum (http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f90/) look for the two threads dedicated to the shows of the 10th and of the 12th. There, you'll find both complete shows in .wav, "files by song" as requested.

thanks for both shows. I prefer the Sep 12 performance as it sounds just a tad more relaxed, but both are really good. also think Brian and Taylor Mills are better mixed. heck, why be picky? just enjoy!!
